Parkhead is the area of Glasgow situated in the East End and is best known as the base for Celtic F.C who currently play in the Scottish Premier League. Their grounds are in Celtic Park which was opened in 1888 and contains the stadium which was built in 1929 with a similar structure as Ibrox Park rivals Rangers and is often referred to as Parkhead due to its location.
